About the Role

We are looking for a qualified professional to work as part of a multidisciplinary community team, providing case consultation and treatment/discharge planning for children and youth with mental health or substance misuse issues within acute hospital wards. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a related, regulated health science discipline and three years' recent related experience working with children and youth with mental health and/or addiction issues in a healthcare setting or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide clinical services to children, youth, and families, documenting records of communication and client contact, and providing outpatient counseling services.
- Liaise with and coordinate information exchange with community healthcare agencies, providing consultation to acute care services staff, and performing short-term clinical bridging support to community agencies.
- Participate in committees, community initiatives, team meetings, continuing education, and engage in ongoing team planning and quality improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of CAD $42.27 to CAD $52.81 per hour, depending on experience.
