Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Workstream. As a Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in driving our data-driven product initiatives and leveraging your expertise in Python, SQL, and machine learning to push forward our business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Leverage your deep expertise in data science and machine learning to drive business growth and innovation
- Work closely with our product teams to understand customer needs and develop data-driven solutions
- Build and maintain machine learning pipelines to enhance our product offerings and customer experience
- Conduct advanced analyses to uncover insights that inform product development and strategy
- Design, build, and maintain data visualizations and dashboards to inform business decisions
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with significant prior experience in data science or machine learning roles
- Expert in SQL with the ability to navigate and analyze complex data structures
- Proficient with dashboarding/data visualization tools and Python programming
- Familiarity with data lakes and data warehousing concepts
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytical concepts into clear, actionable insights

In compliance with the British Columbia Pay Transparency Act, the base salary range for this role is between $140,000-$165,000 CAD. When determining a candidate's compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
