About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team at Daikin Applied. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial refrigeration equipment, including refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioning units.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration systems, including electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
  • Install, replace, and repair refrigeration components, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients to resolve issues and provide solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including work orders, inventory, and quality control metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in refrigeration technology.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in a related field, such as HVAC or refrigeration technology.
  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial refrigeration service role, with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Valid driver's license and EPA certification.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme temperatures.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
