Clinical Innovation Expert

About the Role
This position is a critical part of delivering patient-focused innovations and partnering with clinical professionals at Edwards Lifesciences. As a Field Clinical Specialist, you will be a key contributor to our team, working closely with clinical experts to develop and implement training programs.
Key Responsibilities
• Educate physicians on device handling, implantation, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Coordinate one-on-one training sessions and in-service education programs in hospital environments.
• Provide medical staff with clinical instructions to support the continuum of patient care.
• Identify therapy adoption opportunities in collaboration with sales reps and managers.
• Serve as a designated expert on Edwards products, sharing knowledge and training hospital staff.
• Provide on-site guidance during clinical implants and prepare contingency plans for unforeseen occurrences.
• Document procedural case observations for regulatory requirements and continuous improvement.
Requirements
• Associate's Degree or relevant work experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with therapeutic implantable devices or interventional/surgical clinical care.
• A willingness to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in interventional cardiology or cardiac cath lab.
Clinical experience in one of the following specialties: Nursing, Physician Assistant, CV Sonography, Cardiovascular Technician, or Cardiac Surgery.
• Interventional echo-navigation imaging expertise, specifically with 2D/3D TEE.
• MPR experience and CT-imaging expertise.
• Strong knowledge in cardiovascular science and valvular heart disease processes.
