Job Title: Tutor - Secondary School Subjects

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced tutor to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a Tutor for Secondary School Subjects.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students using a variety of methods, including lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations, and field trips. They will also provide tutoring assistance, prepare and administer tests and papers to evaluate student progress, and develop teaching materials and resources for program delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach students using a range of teaching methods, including lessons, discussions, and audio-visual presentations.
  • Provide one-on-one tutoring assistance to students.
  • Prepare and administer tests and papers to evaluate student progress.
  • Develop and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help.
  • Prepare and deliver teaching materials and resources for program delivery.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, with a mix of in-person and remote work. They will be required to work 30-40 hours per week.

The primary language of work is English.
