Job Title: Tutor - Secondary School Subjects

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced tutor to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a Tutor - Secondary School Subjects.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching secondary school subjects to students, providing tutoring assistance, and preparing and administering tests and papers to evaluate student progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach secondary school subjects to students using a variety of teaching methods, including lessons, discussions, and audio-visual presentations.
  • Provide one-on-one tutoring assistance to students who require extra help.
  • Prepare and administer tests and papers to evaluate student progress.
  • Develop and implement remedial programs for students who require additional support.
  • Prepare and deliver teaching materials and outlines for courses.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, with a mix of in-person and remote work.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The successful candidate will work 30 to 40 hours per week.
