Financial Clerk

At T & D Investments Corp., we are seeking a skilled Financial Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting principles, with the ability to maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and maintaining general ledgers and financial statements. Additionally, they will be required to post journal entries, prepare statistical, financial and accounting reports, and reconcile accounts.
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Reconcile accounts
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience

Work Environment:
- 40 hours per week
