Accounting Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team at Alberta Ltd. o/a Petro Canada. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Analysis: Assist in financial analysis and reporting, including budgeting and forecasting.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
