Meat Cutter and Processor

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter and Processor to join our team at APNA SPICE AND GROCERIES. As a key member of our grocery store meat department, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
- Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Remove bones from meat
- Weigh meats for sale
- Grind meats
- Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products
- Slaughter livestock and remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses
- Remove feathers and singe and wash poultry to prepare for further processing or packaging
- Prepare special orders
- Cut beef, lamb, pork or veal carcasses or sides or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for further cutting, processing or packaging
- Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial or other wholesale use
- Criminal record check
- Standing for extended periods
