Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs and materials that promote equity, diversity, and inclusion. This role will support the operationalizing of our Anti-Racism and Equity (ARE) code by ensuring that all stakeholders have access to relevant training and resources.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver training programs and materials on topics such as implicit/unconscious bias, cultural awareness, 2SLGBTQ+ competency, and Indigenous relations and history.
- Create customized training for PEO's Council, staff, volunteers, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure training materials meet PEO's commitment to EDI, the ARE Code, and the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop targeted solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to stakeholders on EDI-related matters.
- Experience in designing and delivering training programs and materials on EDI topics.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills for live and virtual training sessions.
- Proven experience leading change management and/or program management.
- Lived experience within historically marginalized communities would be an asset.
- Strong communication skills at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in educating multi-generational audiences.
