At Lightci, we're seeking a seasoned Digital Transformation Consultant to drive sales growth for our software development outsourcing service line across the US and Canada. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to build strong relationships with clients and drive business results.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting end-to-end sales, generating new business leads, and driving revenue growth through effective networking, discovery meetings, and project scoping. You will also negotiate and close deals, draft SOWs, and maintain pipeline progress through HubSpot CRM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and execute sales plans, leveraging existing relationships, targeted account planning, prospecting efforts, and marketing initiatives.
  • Closing 1+ material deal(s) within the first 3 months.
  • Maintain pipeline progress and opportunity progression via HubSpot CRM.
  • Drive contract negotiations with clients, collaborating with internal legal and business partners as needed.
  • Deliver regular updates during internal meetings, weekly 1:1s, and company-wide town halls.
  • Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews and contribute to significant impact on gross profit goals.

This role requires occasional travel.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience selling software development services to US-based companies.
  • Strong understanding of technology, especially in Engineering, Product, and Design.
  • Continuous learning mindset, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using a sales/marketing CRM, preferably HubSpot.
  • Ability to build and launch email campaigns to complement other methods for driving new business.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly develop business relationships virtually or in person.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to create compelling stories.
  • A high degree of self-accountability and drive for success.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
