Responsibilities:
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Provide physical accessibility accommodations for clients with disabilities
  • Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and refugees
  • Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment and Indigenous people
Requirements:
  • Experience in cleaning and sanitation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
Working Conditions:

The Janitor will work in a variety of locations, including residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The Janitor will work 30 to 40 hours per week.
