Job Title: Janitorial Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at DeeBee's Organics Inc. As a Janitorial Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability.
