Job Title: Computer Network Technician

LISA TRANSPORT INC is seeking a skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our computer networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Maintain and troubleshoot local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
  • Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and perform routine network start up and close down
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Strong understanding of computer networks and systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Working Conditions:

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
