Job Title: Computer Network Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Computer Network Specialist to join our team at Professional IT Solutions Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users
  • Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization, Linux, Internet, servers, desktop applications, multimedia software, word processing software, presentation software, image editing software, project management software, MS Office, and MS Windows
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and perform repetitive tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills
