We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Shop Supervisor to join our team at Mancor Industries- Royal Windsor Drive. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our machine shop, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Estimating and Planning: Develop and implement production plans, estimate costs and materials, and ensure that all necessary resources are available to meet production deadlines.
- Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of 5-10 team members, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that all products meet the required standards.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work environment is safe and healthy for all employees.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain an efficient and effective production process.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a machine shop or production environment.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
