About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at NARO MILLWORK CORP. as a Millwork Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality wood products and structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Fabrication: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create custom millwork pieces.
  • Installation and Assembly: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to ensure precise and safe construction.
  • Finishing Touches: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to complete the millwork project.
  • Equipment and Machinery Operation: Operate hand tools and other equipment to efficiently complete tasks.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, handling heavy loads, and performing physically demanding tasks.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate accuracy, reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience and Support: Possess 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade, with a focus on providing physical accessibility accommodations and supporting newcomers, refugees, and Indigenous people.
