Job Summary:



We are seeking an experienced Detailing Technician to join our team at Roy Auto Detailing Inc. as an Auto Exterior Specialist.

About the Job

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles meet our high standards of cleanliness and appearance. This includes washing and cleaning interior and exterior surfaces, vacuuming floors, and applying protective coatings to maintain a showroom shine.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Clean and prepare vehicles for detailing, including washing and drying exterior surfaces, vacuuming and cleaning interior surfaces, and removing any loose debris or dirt;
  • Apply protective coatings to exterior surfaces to protect against the elements and maintain a showroom shine;
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning ducts, vents, and filters of furnaces, to ensure a clean and safe working environment;
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and a commitment to quality;
  • Use manual dexterity and fine motor skills to perform detailed tasks, such as polishing and waxing surfaces, and cleaning intricate areas;
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines, and reporting any hazards or concerns to management;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives, and contribute to a positive and respectful work environment.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:




  • No formal education is required, but a willingness to learn and take direction is essential;
  • Previous experience in a similar role or industry is preferred, but on-the-job training will be provided;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients;
  • A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, with the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment;
  • The physical stamina and endurance to perform manual labor tasks, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs);
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required, depending on the location and job requirements.
