Job Title: Automotive Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Dover Auto Centre Ltd. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with commercial transport trucks and automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications

Requirements:

  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • 35 hours per week

Working Conditions:

  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Attention to detail
