About the Role

The Mobile Applications Development Lead will be responsible for translating business objectives into clear team and individual objectives, as well as a clear, innovative, and inspiring technology roadmap in collaboration with the product owner and the Manager, Strategy and Design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and monitor the team's progress and share feedback with them.
  • Build productive and engaged teams, helping them develop personal and technical skills. Mentor team members in their career development.
  • Act as primary technical contact with other technology teams.
  • Work with the team to determine technical feasibility and ensure the highest possible quality product is offered to customers. Identify opportunities to reuse and optimize code components.
  • Define and implement production support to identify and help the team solve technical issues in our applications.
  • Work with other managers to ensure that all initiatives have the appropriate resources, balancing business needs with each team member's experience and professional goals.
  • Actively develop strategies for the removal of ineffective or unnecessary processes while mitigating risk.
  • Continuously update and improve development practices, tools, and processes, empowering people to work independently while also creating more efficient teams, and ensuring they can meet our digital leadership objectives.
