Job Title: Application Developer/Integrator

Our client is a leading provider of enterprise private cloud software, delivering customer relationship management (CRM) solutions for financial services, insurance, and healthcare. Their people-centered software combines industry-specific functionality with information from multiple applications and data stores to provide comprehensive knowledge of the individual.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer/Integrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing integrated software solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Gather and analyze technical customer requirements
  2. Model technical designs using our client's model-driven framework
  3. Develop and configure customer-specific solutions
  4. Integrate to multiple customer systems using SOA design and technology
  5. Automate key business processes

Requirements:

  1. Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical degree with 0-5 years of software development experience
  2. Strong object-oriented programming and design patterns experience
  3. Understanding of web services technologies such as WSDL/XSD and SOAP
  4. Understanding of enterprise messaging technologies such as JMS and Websphere MQ
  5. Familiarity with scripting languages such as VBscript, Javascript, Scheme
  6. Knowledge of relational database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, DB2
  7. Familiarity with application server technologies such as WebSphere and JBoss
  8. Knowledge or experience of the SDLC using Agile Scrum development and/or Waterfall project management methodologies and standards
  9. Strong communicator with demonstrated confidence
  10. Customer focused with a high degree of professionalism
  11. Solutions focused with a track record of taking initiative to find the best ideas
  12. Willingness and experience working within a flexible and collaborative team environment
  13. Familiarity or experience with Financial Services organizations, such as Wealth Management, Life Insurance, P&C Insurance, Investment Banking and Retail Banking

Candidates will be working directly with customers and will be required to travel (mainly within Canada and to the US) and work at customer sites.
