About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance and repair, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including automated conveyor systems and controls
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 49lbs and stand for extended periods

What We Offer

At JLL, we offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $28.00 - $28.25 CAD per year, plus opportunities for professional growth and development.
