Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and replacements of equipment and systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and technologies

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field; experience with automated conveyor systems and controls a plus
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, including blueprint and electrical schematic reading
  • Ability to work at heights, lift up to 49 pounds, and stand for long periods of time
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field
  • 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field
  • Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Knowledge of computer networking systems and infrastructure
  • Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance
  • Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions. Low voltage signal tracing and troubleshooting of logical devices.
  • Basic ability to use Linux command line interface
