About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and replacements of equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and technologies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field; experience with automated conveyor systems and controls a plus
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, including blueprint and electrical schematic reading
- Ability to work at heights, lift up to 49 pounds, and stand for long periods of time
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field
- 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field
- Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards
- Project Management experience
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Knowledge of computer networking systems and infrastructure
- Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance
- Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions. Low voltage signal tracing and troubleshooting of logical devices.
- Basic ability to use Linux command line interface
