We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Expert to join our team at Intuit. As a Tax Expert, you will play a critical role in helping our customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance and support to customers as they navigate the TurboTax Live experience.
- Prepare and file end-to-end customer personal returns consisting of a variety of topics, including employment, self-employment, rental, investments, T1135, foreign income, and all credits/deductions.
- Utilize professional tax preparation software to prepare and file tax returns.
- Have a current and active CRA RepID (representative identifier) to allow your use of the CRA Represent a Client service.
- Stay up-to-date with tax laws and tax concepts.
- Provide superior critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve customer tax questions.
- Communicate effectively with customers through written and verbal communication.
- Work in a virtual environment, providing support to customers remotely.
- Minimum of 3+ years of paid professional tax preparation experience.
- Minimum of 125 tax returns prepared per tax season for the last 3 years.
- Working knowledge of tax laws and tax concepts.
- Superior critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly technical and comfortable with Windows, Mac, and mobile platforms, as well as G-suite applications (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.).
- Flexibility in availability and scheduling.
- Strong customer service and customer experience acumen.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and French + read, write, speak) is considered a strong asset.
As a Tax Expert with Intuit, you will have access to our virtual tools and resources, as well as opportunities to collaborate with experts and provide updates on assigned customers. We offer opportunities to work with us again for following seasons.
