Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have experience in researching and investigating the design, functionality, and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes. Strong technical skills, including the ability to make sketches and engineering drawings, as well as proficiency in computer applications related to the engineering field, are essential.

Responsibilities include studying time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rates and improve efficiency. The successful candidate will review worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications.

In addition, the Manufacturing Engineer will review and approve work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays. They will also evaluate data and reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to provide support and constructive performance feedback
  • Advanced ability to make sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations
  • Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
  • Previous experience with computer applications and software related to the engineering field, such as Computer-Aided Design (CAD)

We offer a competitive salary range for this role, estimated at $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
