Job Title: Dog Grooming Establishment Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dog Grooming Establishment Manager to join our team at Puptown Girls Dog Lounge and Spa. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dog grooming department, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and service quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Direct and control daily operations, evaluate daily operations, and plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Staff Management: Establish or implement policies and procedures for staff, plan and control budget and inventory, and hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide exceptional customer service to build strong relationships with our clients.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit and support newcomers and refugees, provide mentorship programs, and offer diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, and provide cultural competency training.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination, offer mentorship programs, and provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
