At Vancouver Coastal Health, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Assertive Community Treatment Psychiatrist to join our team. As a key member of our community treatment team, you will provide specialized care to individuals with complex mental health needs and high levels of comorbidity.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment plans for clients in the community.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, social workers, and occupational therapists, to provide holistic care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
- Conduct regular outreach and engagement with clients in various settings, including private residences, shelters, and public areas.
- Provisional or unrestricted license to practice medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
- Eligibility or active fellowship in psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians of Canada.
- Eligibility or current appointment as clinical faculty with the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine.
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership.
