Job Title: Painter

Universal Roofs Inc is seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, mixing paint to desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing as needed.
  • Mix and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
  • Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings.
  • Estimate costs and materials for painting and finishing projects.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in painting and finishing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
