We are seeking a skilled Artisan Painter to join our team at Assured Basements. As an Artisan Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired colour and texture, measuring, cutting and applying wallpaper and other fabric to walls, and applying paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2-3 years of experience in the field
  • Permanent work term
  • 40 hours per week
Work Setting

Our Artisan Painter will work in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Repair cracks and holes
  • Mix paint to desired colour and texture
  • Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
  • Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
