About the Role

We are seeking a talented Pharmacy Manager to join our team at FreshCo in Fort McMurray, Alberta. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for leading our team of pharmacists and supporting staff to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.

Job Summary

The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including:

  • Exceeding internal and external customer expectations by building strong relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions;
  • Executing pharmacy programs and product launches to promote patient service standards, drive sales, control labor, monitor margin, and control shrink;
  • Acting in the patient's best interest to implement and support patient-centered care through professional scope of practice and team delivery of company programs;
  • Inspiring a positive, patient-focused culture and experience, product availability, and customer service standards while developing and monitoring business plans to deliver on KPIs;
Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing a team of pharmacists and supporting staff to deliver exceptional patient care;
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve patient satisfaction and loyalty;
  • Managing inventory, supplies, and resources to ensure efficient operation of the pharmacy;
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures;
  • Collaborating with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve patient outcomes;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution;
  • Current licensure as a pharmacist in good standing in the province of Alberta;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist;
  • Injection and First Aid Certification;
  • Kroll software experience is an asset;
