Job Summary

At Loblaw Companies Limited, we are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of helping Canadians live life well.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients.
• Ensure medication and over-the-counter supplement inventory levels are adequate to meet patients' needs.
• Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive interaction.
• Create awareness and educate customers through public relations initiatives (public health days, clinics, etc.).
• Provide timely and positive resolutions to patients' needs and doctors' requests/issues.
• Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary).
• Provide ongoing training for all new and existing pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPGs).

Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists' license is required.
• Excellent customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism are essential.
• Strong leadership and performance management skills are required.
• Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies is necessary.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans, are desired.
• Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy Computer systems, are an asset.
