We are seeking a skilled ER Physician to join our team at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, a modern and bright acute care facility located in Fergus, Ontario. Our hospital offers a supportive environment with a robust group of local GPs and consultants available to support our ED.
About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated ER Physician to provide high-quality patient care in our busy ED. As an ER Physician at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment with a team of experienced healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the ED
- Work collaboratively with our team of local GPs and consultants
- Participate in our ED Mentorship Program to support the integration of community-based family practitioners into our ED
- Eligible for the Groves Hospital ER Physician Return of Service financial incentives
- Flexible scheduling to suit your needs
- Electronic charting and order entry system
- Teaching opportunities as a teaching site for McMaster University Medical School
- Free accommodation in town, if needed
- Free hospital parking
Our hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility with two state-of-the-art operating rooms, three L&D rooms, a CT scanner, and a busy ED. We offer a modern and bright environment with a focus on patient-centered care.
