We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Accounting team at CAE Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial reporting and analysis support to our business units.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review financial reports for one of our Holding companies, including accounting for transactions, reporting, and statutory financial statements.
- Participate in the month-end closing process and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Prepare HFM continuity schedules and coordinate validation clearing processes for CAE Inc. business units.
- Develop and maintain statistical reports and manage reports prepared by other departments, serving as a point of contact with Statistics Canada.
- Analyze general ledger accounts and maintain prepaids schedules.
- Review sales taxes filings for Canada, Australia, UK, and Italy.
- Conduct other related financial analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
- Minimum 4 years of related experience.
- CPA certification is an asset.
- Bilingualism in French and English is required.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Oracle R12 and HFM is an asset.
- Results-driven with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to find solutions and make recommendations.
- Creative thinking and ability to propose innovative ideas.
- Strong team player.
