Job Title: Part-Time Cage Cashier

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Cage Cashier to join our team at Great Canadian Gaming Corporation. As a key member of our gaming and entertainment team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing cash transactions, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle cash transactions, including foreign currency exchange, traveler's cheques, and cash counts
  • Monitor and report discrepancies and suspicious cash activities
  • Redeem value chips and gaming tickets for cash
  • Sell racing tickets, vouchers, and value chips as required
  • Verify and process machine fills, machine jackpots, and table fills
  • Issue opening floats to Slot Attendants and reconcile closing floats
  • Transfer and store floats, keys, and record-keeping documents
  • Document and reconcile transactions, including bank deposits and revenue reports
  • Communicate effectively with operational departments and build strong working relationships with guests and team members
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma; post-secondary education an asset
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume cash handling
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
Work Environment:

Our casino and cage environment requires standing or sitting for long periods of time, and non-traditional work hours may be required.
