About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at CIBC Mellon. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will play a critical role in attracting, selecting, and onboarding top talent to support our business needs.

Job Description

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for developing and executing creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent. You will lead the full recruitment life cycle, including conducting needs assessments with hiring managers, creating and broadcasting positions, screening applicants, conducting behavioural interviews, and managing the hiring manager and candidate experience.

You will also develop and execute innovative and productive sourcing strategies, leveraging multiple tools, professional affiliations, and social networking. Your goal will be to establish and maintain relationships with prospective candidates to continually build and maintain a talent pipeline.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
  • Lead the full recruitment life cycle, including needs assessments, position creation, applicant screening, and interview management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective candidates to build a talent pipeline.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive recruitment experience.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry is an asset.
  • Strong client service and interpersonal skills.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), particularly Njoyn.
  • Experience sourcing and hiring through LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment legislation.
Working Conditions

This role will be based in a standard office environment.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement savings plan.
