Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Network Controller to join our team at Southfort Inn. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and computer workstations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network equipment, including routers, switches, and servers.
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network and sensitive information.
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange.
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software to optimize server performance and prevent potential threats.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education in a relevant field, such as computer science or information technology.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in network administration and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
