Job Title: Front-end Software Designer

Collabera is seeking a skilled Front-end Software Designer to join our team. As a Front-end Software Designer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing user interface applications for various platforms, including WEB, iOS, Android, and embedded HMI.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop user interface applications for various platforms, ensuring a high level of usability, accessibility, and visual appeal.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end software designers, back-end software designers, embedded software designers, software architects, and hardware designers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software.
  3. Develop and maintain automated unit tests to ensure the quality and reliability of user interface applications.
  4. Review and improve the tool set used to produce high-quality and highly secure software, including static analysis and dynamic analysis.
  5. Identify and implement good design and code practices based on business value, project budget, and timeline.
Requirements:
  1. Graduate diploma in computer sciences, software engineering, or equivalent.
  2. Experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
  3. Solid scripting skills, including bash, awk, sed, perl, Python, and Lua.
  4. Solid knowledge of IP networking and IT security.
  5. Solid experience in application development, mixing multiple languages.
  6. Solid experience in asynchronous programming.
  7. Good knowledge of GIT source control.
  8. Bilingual (French/English).
  9. Some experience in software development in C, C#, and C++.
  10. Passionate about improving user experience.
  11. Inclined to use existing software instead of reinventing the wheel.
  12. Curious and passionate about software development.
