Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care and promote positive health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety
Requirements:
  • Current active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) certification
  • Trauma Nursing Care Course (TNCC) certification
  • Knowledge of Professional Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
