About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI Software Engineer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new features and enhancements to our existing UI components.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new UI features and components, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to gather requirements and propose technical solutions.
  • Monitor and address performance and stability issues related to UI changes.
  • Oversee the implementation of feature core logic, game flows, and screens/components.
  • Work closely with a team of UI engineers in a collaborative environment and report to a team lead.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in C++ software development.
  • Experience adapting to existing multiple coding styles.
  • Experience with Entity-Component-System architecture.
  • Experience shipping UI code for AAA titles.
  • Experience embracing challenges and finding creative solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building user interfaces.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.
