The Challenge

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI/Frontend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for establishing the culture for our frontend architecture and laying the foundation for our design system. Our team is small and agile, and we aim to move fast and experiment with new technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and code a responsive purchase flow for games in React
  • Ensure the flow is performant and accessible
  • Write automated tests for the flow
  • Integrate the flow with our CI/CD pipeline
What You'll Take On
  • 100% of time hands-on coding
  • Build out various frontend applications
  • Champion a culture of iteration, experimentation, and performance
  • Evangelize automated testing best practices for unit/integration/e2e tests
  • Collaborate with our design and product teams to build out new features
  • Build out our set of reusable components
  • Work with our operations team to build out our tooling and CI/CD pipelines
  • Work with game teams to integrate the technology and products we build
What You Bring
  • Strong experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in software engineering
  • Experience using ES6
  • Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, and e2e)
  • Experience with React in a production environment
  • Experience with Accessibility
  • Experience with SEO
  • Experience with building single-page applications
  • Experience with web performance and monitoring, including load time optimizations and run time optimizations

The pay range for this position in British Columbia, Canada at the start of employment is expected to be between 110,000 and 145,000 CAD per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
