Our team is seeking a skilled Clinical Standardization Specialist to join our pediatric and maternal care department.
We are proud to provide world-class care for the most seriously ill or injured children and youth from across British Columbia. Our team at BC Children's Hospital (BCCH) provides a wide range of specialized medical services, including critical care, surgery, and diagnostic imaging.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading equipment and supply standardization initiatives, ensuring that our facilities are equipped with the latest technology and best practices. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
As a Clinical Standardization Specialist, you will work closely with our clinical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to develop and implement standardization plans, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with accreditation requirements. You will also have the opportunity to participate in provincial competitive bids and Value Analysis Teams (VAT) to address clinical requirements for tertiary and quaternary pediatric and maternity patients.
This role offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a municipal pension plan, psychological health & safety programs, and holistic wellness resources. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading equipment and supply standardization initiatives to maximize success and improve patient care
- Collaborating with clinical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to develop and implement standardization plans
- Monitoring progress and ensuring alignment with accreditation requirements
- Participating in provincial competitive bids and Value Analysis Teams (VAT)
- Developing strategic standardization priorities and coordinating operational planning and implementation
