Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the Renal Transplant program. As a Nurse Practitioner, Renal Transplant, you will provide direct inpatient care, transition patient care between inpatient and outpatient settings, and participate in clinical research. Speciality training and mentorship will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessments of patients and clients, diagnosing diseases, disorders, and conditions.
- Initiate treatment plans, including health care management, therapeutic interventions, and prescribing medications.
- Collaborate with clients and other healthcare professionals to identify and assess trends and patterns that impact client outcomes.
- Develop and implement population-based strategies to improve health outcomes.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
CURRENT REGISTRATION AS A NURSE PRACTITIONER WITH THE BRITISH COLUMBIA COLLEGE OF NURSES AND MIDWIVES (BCCNM) PLUS 4 YEARS OF RECENT, AND RELEVANT CLINICAL NURSING EXPERIENCE.SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE OBJECTIVE STRUCTURED CLINICAL EXAMINATION (OSCE).Vancouver Coastal Health
