The estimated base salary for this position ranges from $45.34 to $65.10 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.



Job Description:


We are seeking an experienced Senior Lighting Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lighting design and implementation, with the ability to work on complex scenes and meet art direction requirements.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Design and implement lighting for characters and environments
  • Ensure that assigned shots fit the continuity of the sequence
  • Develop solutions and techniques that meet art/technical direction
  • Collaborate with supervisors and peers to exchange information relevant to the show or sequences


Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you should have:



  • Knowledge of Katana, Maya, Linux, UNIX, and scripting abilities in relevant languages
  • Experience with Arnold shading, volume rendering, and raytracing
  • Familiarity with compositing software such as Nuke
  • A minimum of 3+ years of production experience or feature film experience
