The Retail Sales Associate - Point of Sale Specialist is a key role at Shell Canada, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless transactions at the point of sale.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate - Point of Sale Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for operating the cash register, processing payments, and handling customer inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.

This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, depending on location and experience. As a member of our retail team, you will work approximately 35-40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the cash register and process payments accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Restock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Participate in promotional activities and suggest products to customers
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train on-the-job
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
