Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at K-Town Carpets and Flooring Ltd. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including features, benefits, and applications of various flooring products.
  • Meet sales targets by identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, and making recommendations to customers.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, including setting up displays and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on products, services, and company policies.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in sales or customer service is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
