Tangerine, Canada's leading digital bank, seeks a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Dispute Resolution Specialist to join our Fraud Claims & Support Services team. This role is based in Toronto, Ontario.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual who can investigate and resolve complex financial disputes, ensuring timely and fair resolutions for our clients. As a Financial Dispute Resolution Specialist, you will work closely with our internal teams to analyze data, identify patterns, and develop effective strategies to minimize losses and improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve complex financial disputes, including credit card transactions, merchant chargebacks, and fraudulent claims.
  • Analyze data, identify patterns, and develop effective strategies to minimize losses and improve profitability.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and fair resolutions for our clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial dispute resolution, accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Fluency in both English and French language skills (reading, writing, and spoken).
  • Post-secondary education in business or a related field would be considered an asset.
