Job Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Mary Brown's - Gateway Grande Prairie. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, cash handling, and staff supervision.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a positive dining experience.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Marketing and Sales: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, and negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong organizational and time management skills.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. They will be required to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
