About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java/Murex Developer to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient upstream and downstream interfaces to and from the Murex system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-performance interfaces to and from Murex
  • Write maintainable and extensible code
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Optimize existing interfaces for maximum speed and scalability
  • Monitor and solve performance issues
  • Collaborate with business users and the development team in an Agile environment
  • Oversee and manage multiple strategic initiatives in a group

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Core Java, Spring Integration, Spring Boot, etc.
  • Experience leading small or mid-size projects
  • 5+ years of experience in Unix shell scripting
  • 5+ years of JavaScript and node.js experience
  • 3+ years in AngularJS
  • Knowledge in React is an asset
  • Extensive experience with JIRA, Confluence, Nexus, Jenkins, Maven
  • Good understanding of version control and source code management using Git
  • Murex experience is an asset
