We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at IS2 Staffing Services in Northwest Edmonton. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, your duties will include:

  1. Repairing and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Working on trucks, trailers, loaders, and forklifts.
  3. Service and repair off-road equipment, including various heavy machinery brands.
  4. Diagnosing issues and recommending repair solutions.
Qualifications and Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification.
  2. CVIP (Certified Vehicle Inspection).
  3. Experience in scrap metal handling equipment is preferred.
  4. Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
  5. Basic computer skills for reporting.
