Job Title: Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team at Level One Construction Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Construction Manager will be responsible for coordinating and supervising construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate subcontractors' activities and ensure they meet project requirements
  • Evaluate daily operations and identify areas for improvement
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling and resource allocation
  • Select trade subcontractors and hire and supervise their activities
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings
  • Plan and manage budgets, including direct purchases of building materials and land acquisitions
  • Develop and implement quality control programs and risk management plans
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information, and prepare reports
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in construction management
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
